Application rates
Our BioChar has not been pre-inoculated or conditioned. This means that the Carbon can initially reduce the available nutrients in the soil.
To eliminate this risk and to ensure successful colonisation by the soil microbes and fungi, simply add 1-2 teaspoons of unsulphured molasses to 1L of dechlorinated water and add around 200mL of BioChar. Add some Soil Microbes to the mix and aerate for 1-2 days before adding it to your Compost / Soil.
If you don't have specific strains of micro-fauna to add, you can add some bioactive compost / soil to introduce the bacteria.
Only use non-chlorinated water or you may kill the microbes.
Simply leave tap water standing for 24 hours before use or use Rain /Well /RO water.
