This Payment & Security Policy outlines the accepted payment methods, security measures, and compliance with EU regulations, including the Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We offer secure and flexible payment options for all orders:
✔ Credit/Debit Cards – Visa, Mastercard, American Express (processed via secure payment gateways).
✔ PayPal – Secure online payments with buyer protection.
✔ Bank Transfer – Available for bulk/wholesale orders (details provided upon request).
✔ Cash on Delivery (Malta only) – Available for confirmed orders.
📌 Note: For international orders, full payment must be made upfront unless otherwise agreed upon via invoice.
2. Payment Terms & Conditions
📌 Orders within Malta: Payment can be made upon confirmation unless otherwise agreed.
📌 Orders outside Malta: Must be paid in full upfront, unless invoiced and agreed privately.
📌 Custom Orders: Require a 50% deposit upfront to secure raw organic amendments and custom-made soil solutions. The remaining 50% is due before shipment or upon delivery (depending on the agreement).
📌 Bulk Orders (1 ton or more): Contact us first for a custom quotation based on market pricing before placing an order.

3. Secure Payment Processing
We take security seriously and ensure that all transactions are protected by industry-leading encryption technology.
✔ SSL Encryption – Our website is secured with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption to protect sensitive payment details.
✔ PCI Compliance – Payments are processed through PCI-DSS-compliant providers, ensuring the highest standards of data security.
✔ Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) – In line with PSD2 regulations, additional authentication may be required for online payments.
4. Fraud Prevention & Order Verification
To protect against fraudulent transactions, we may perform additional security checks before processing an order. This may include:
✔ Verification of billing and shipping details
✔ Request for additional identification in high-value transactions
✔ Contacting the customer directly to confirm the order
📌 If we suspect fraud, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a refund.
5. Refunds & Chargebacks
✔ Refunds are processed within 7 business days for eligible returns (see our Refund & Return Policy).
✔ Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in account restrictions or delays in future orders.
